review 1: These are all great books, that I really enjoyed. I read them all in about 3 days, I just couldn't stop...I found the characters realistic, with real flaws. They occasionally flounder around with indecision, heart break, anger and joy.I liked how the varied romances were conducted and the mistakes and agonising 'could of/should of' scenarios. Hindsight is a vicious thing. What's good is that all is not necessarily lost, and I also like the way that various people of varied ages, struggle with decision making and their insecurities.A great series, I wonder if the author might do a carry on with a Series 2...?
review 2: After waiting and waiting, and waiting some more, I finally got my hands on this book! This book picks up two years after Tegan's Blood, but fills
... morein readers with the basic details of what's been going on in Tegan's life since then. It also starts off with some steamy-ish scenes with everyone's favorite Slayer. The tension continues to ramp up as the story continues, so beware ;D. Tegan's relationship with Ethan also picks up where it left off, for the most part. In fact, her relationships with the rest of the vamps seemed to only be on pause - I guess that comes with being immortal.Anyhow, the story is well paced, and while I didn't agree with all of Tegan's decisions, they did make sense (mostly) and I do understand them (mostly). There's a little bit of humor/banter, so that keeps things from being too monotonous. All the characters from the first book seem to make an appearance, which I was grateful to the author for.The end of this book leaves you wanting more, so I'm off to pick up #3! less
