review 1: Out in the Pontine marshes, something is stirring. Bandits murder their neighbours, terrorise their wives, and disappear silently into the reeds. When the murder spreads to Rome, and takes on something more like a Jack The Ripper guise, Falco is called in to investigate. review 2: This was a book selected by my book club. Although I will not be able to attend the book club this month, I still wanted to read the book. Well, I so wish I was going to book club to find out how everyone ... moreelse felt as I could not continue reading this book past page 50. For me the story is way too slow. The first 50 pages talked about one uninteresting thing, throwing in tons of character names and going nowhere. Very disappointing. less
