review 1: At first glance, one would think that the book was bi-lingual. However, it is merely the title that is bi-lingual and the book contents are referrred to as "Spanish Edition". That being said, the book is somewhat graphic novel in nature, the plot being a big wet red balloon which goes astray. The illustrations are clever but the book may be a bit too wordy for the level it is meant to represent, simply because it is in a graphic novel format.
review 2: Read this: if you have kids, if you feel like life is about adventures & experimenting & stepping outside your comfort zone, if you love the weekends, & if you are a sister. This book made me laugh out loud & made my heart very happy. I loved after the end of the story how the author/illustrator included a photo ... moreof his daughters and a picture drawn by one of them--both of whom the story was inspired by. less
