review 1: I liked this book more than I expected to. It was a good mystery with interesting characters. It was interesting how the point of view changed so often, but I did find it a little confusing. I had to keep saying to myself, "Who is this now?" But I usually remembered pretty quickly. I did not guess who the murderer was. I liked how you can see how this book set up the next in the series, but the story in this book had a satisfying conclusion.
review 2: Well I have to admit that this one was a real disappointment. The story could have been good, but the writing was cluttered with unnecessary detail. In fact the whole book was cluttered with random people who were not involved in the plot. The final insult came at the end when the killer turned out to be someone w... moree had barely met. And I still don't really know why he was killing anyone or why he was doing it that particular way. Totally unsatisfying. Did not like it! less
