review 1: Lisa Oliver's Runaway Cat follows on directly from the Reluctant Wolf. Once I started it I didn't want to put it down. The writing and flow of the story is so much better than Reluctant Wolf. This is Griff's story and like the others in Cloverleah he has a secret. The story travels well, starting in the bar at Claude's after the incident with Bruce. We then get to learn more about Griff and Diablo. The book seems overly long at times but Lisa has given the characters a lot of issues to deal with and she seems determined to resolve them all. So when you think happily ever after is around the corner, don't be so sure.Still an ejoyable read. If you liked the first one, this is a must read.
review 2: 1.5 starsI don't know how this book got so many high reviews. I co
... moreuld not get into it. It did look promising in the beginning, I liked how it started but the pet names started and it was horrible. I fckin hate "honey" o "Hon" being used especially from men who are suppose to be ultra alpha. It just didn't fit. Among the other ones being used that I also didn't see fitting. The grammar felt off but Maybe it was just me. This had potential that I don't think it met and several issues that never really bother me, but I couldn't get past here. less
