review 1: This was a very good book! There was some very intense parts in the book that i didn't know what Rae was going to do about Dean! Until the end when everything came together. Rae got shot by Dean in the Flower shop that she worked at after school because Dean was in a hurt for money and tried robbing her work. Like is said, very intense parts. On top of all that, boy trouble in teen years! Read it!!
review 2: 3.5 stars. this one was just OK for me. it didn't have a lot happening, so to me, the reader it was a little slow paced. However, it did tell a story, a very sad difficult to read story. I felt sorry for Rae. She had a difficult home life and a semi difficult love life. I would recommend this book to any teenage youth. it's a very appropriate read for that ... moreage group. it deals with a teen girl with a rough life and she makes it. she pulls through her struggles and even helps some people along the way. I did feel that it ended rather abruptly. this whole book led up to one chapter then the book was over a chapter later. I would have liked to see more Leo & where that road went with them. it was just an OK read for me. less
