review 1: Books written in verse are usually not my thing but I picked this book up because of a recommendation. I did enjoy the sweet story told so elegantly with few words. Amber wants to go to the beach to spend a day by herself and there she meets Cade. Each of them is instantly attracted to the other and they decide to spend the day together. Amber and Cade individually have something big happening in their lives and slowly their stories unfold.
review 2: The Day Before by Lisa Schroeder is about a girl named Amber who was switched at birth. Now she finds herfself caught up in her parents that she was raised by and her biological ones. Now all she wants is to escape from her family and friends for a day to go to the beach and spend a day all by herself. Once Amber g... moreets to the beach, she meets a boy named Cade who is there for the same reason. They find themselves attracted to each other almost instantly and fall in love on the spot. Amber doesnt want this day to end because she knows that tomorrow she will have to leave her family that she loves and go to her biological parents. Cade and Amber want to be together forever but what Amber doesn't know is that today might be Cade's last. I enjoyed this book because it was written in verse and it was written very well. This book was really good and it made me want to read more from Lisa Schroeder. What I didnt like about this book was that it seemed too short and there couldv'e been more explanation at the end to make more interesting. less
