review 1: Keep in mind that these are novellas and therefore won't pack in as much as a long novel. But I have to say that for a novella, these stories do not short change you. The characters, relationships and all feel flushed out and well developed. I loved picking back up where Torrent, Book 3 left off and catching back up with the characters that came to seem so real to me. I also enjoyed meeting some new characters. Bourne and Tributary also bring Lia and Luca's story more into play. Lord Greco is back! If like me, you were hoping to see his story played out more - you will! I have to say that a part of me is still not ready to say goodbye to this cast of characters but at the same time I feel quiet pleased with the wrap-up! Thank you Lisa T. Bergren for a fantastic, fun and ad... moreventurous read! I enjoyed the romance too and your lessons on faith. God bless! review 2: It had been a bit of time since I finished the River of Time trilogy and it was nice meeting the characters again in these two short stories that start where the last of the trilogy ended. Much more of these stories (especially Tributary) was told from Lia's side as opposed to the books in the trilogy. I love the characters, their good hearts and desire for peace and happiness in their world. My only criticism is the same as I had with the trilogy books -- there were too many fight scenes and all the drama that goes along with that. I would rather have more of the story line dealing with Gabi, Lia and their parents and how they deal with living in this time period. less
