review 1: Good reminders and reflections for moms. Chapters devoted our changing relationships with self (now that child attached at hip :), husband, parents and in-laws, friends with kids and without kids, the world at large, and God. An extra nice touch for me was that when it actually mentioned childbirth it would also mention those of us who became parents through adoption. A rule to remember: once a week take an evening for self, once a month take a day, once a year take a weekend.

I especially appreciate the chapter on marriage. I've re-read it several times to soak in the many tips and words of advice. There's also a discussion of Internet friends that's important reading for moms who linger online. less
