review 1: I read waterfall, cascade and torrent in one big go. To be honest I didn't feel like it had ended very well. Yes the battle had ended, but I felt like it had left off in the middle of a moment. Or maybe it's just my love for this series? I see there are other books in the series, and while my library doesn't have the others, I hope I can find them soonTorrent, was all action, battle after battle after battle. The whole series really. However we finally got to see Gabriella and Marcello have some bonding moments. I felt like they fell in love to easily. Yeah, it was romantic and I found myself wishing I could travel time to meet my own hot guy. However, they never spent any time together learning who each other was.Another confusing thing was the brotherhood thing. I wish t... morehe book had expanded more on that. I said five stars because it was amazing. Everyone should read it. I finished Cascade last night, started Torrent straight away, and when I finally teared the book away at 3 am, I dreamt of myself in a medieval world. Let's face it. Who wouldn't want a Marcello of their own?
review 2: My Overview:Gabi and Lia have now not only brought their mother into their fourteenth century world, but now they have managed to travel back and save their father, and bring him back with them as well. Much time as passed since the girls left this medieval world, but their men are still longing and waiting for them to return. Now the group takes on final battles, and wars, and makes choices that will test their relationships, and their futures. My Review: ★★★★★Torrent is the best book in The River of Time series by Lisa T Bergren. This final book brings everything to a close perfectly, and is packed with suspense and true, melt your heart, give you chills romance: Yes, I got actual chills. Lisa T. Bergren did an amazing job writing this series, but Torrent is the jewel. I was swept away every moment, and completely caught up in the events of this story. Gabi comes full circle in her journey, and so does her family. Characters, that we only got glimpses of before, are brought to light as we learn even more about them. And love conquers the world, and overcomes odds that should brake it down. If you have read and enjoyed Waterfall and Cascade, then just wait until you get your hands on Torrent, you will love it beyond words. less
