review 1: I started this a few days ago and it wasn't grabbing me, but I picked it up again this evening and discovered that the second half moved much more quickly. A great topic and one I feel passionately about given that I've never felt comfortable with social expectations of femininity. Worth reading, but wish the earlier section had been tightened up. I look forward to seeing what Liz does in her next outing.
review 2: Autobiography in graphic novel format; Liz Prince presents narration and pictures about her life as a tomboy. She knows she is not a lesbian its just that she doesn't like or agree with society's definitions about how females should dress and act. She wants to be herself and not judged by her clothing but by her mind and how she treats other people
... more. Her life is a struggle starting from the time she was quite young and not at all interested in dresses. I do have my doubts about some of the language she purports to have used at an early age. Overall an engaging look at what life is like for those who don't fit the norm. less

Very good, and kept my interest. I'm not a HUGE fan of graphic novels but I'll read them.
