review 1: When the first sex scene was so early in the book (first couple of chapters, and between two total strangers. My poor innocent heart!), I didn't have much hope for this book. I will admit it out loud - I WAS WRONG. I loved the book. I loved the story. It was full of surprises. A lot of times sex scenes means that the storyline will be poorly constructed. This is not the case. The book had me on the edge of my seat. Chase had me hooked. He is fantasy material, even if he makes mistakes and ultimately acted like a jerk. Skylar is one tough girl and I hope she will make the right choices. (As I love happy endings). I will definitely read the rest of the books in the series.
review 2: This was a good shapeshifter story and I am curious to see how this keeps going.T... morehe major problem I have with this book though is that when Chace and Skylar are together, the story kind of drifts into the background and they have sex like animals in heat. Then they seperate and the story picks up again, spiking interest and curiosity. It was kind of annyoing at times because that way the story felt rushed. As if everything had to play out in the absense of one of the two. less
