review 1: So I was a sucker for Kyle in the first book. I hated that he got the raw end of that deal but he was good about it and you could tell he cared for Lannie but not like Hank did. But you also got to see a glimpse into what was to come in that 1st book when you put Kyle with Celia. Then you caught a little more in the 2nd and 3rd building up to this story. This story was not like any other I had read it seemed to go a little backwards and I have to say I liked it. I hope I'm not spoiling anything in saying that having the wedding first and the drama next was a nice change and I loved it. It was nice seeing Kyle finally get his HEA and I knew there would be drama tearing them apart but I was glad it wasn't so much that I was screaming about it. It was the perfect story... more that just made me smile as these two were getting what they deserved. I especially loved seeing all my previous couples doing so well. These books just make me happy and I come away smiling after reading them.
review 2: This is my favorite book of all the "blacktop series"!!!!!!!!! Kyle is sexy, romantic, loving, faithful, funny& all cowboy. And has been in love with his best friends sister for a long time. He has known Celia Lawson since she was 6 years old. They always seemed to be enemy's, playing tricks, always being annoying, snapping curt comments, both not realizing where they were headed - LOVE. Along the way are lots of heated love making sessions that awesomely surprised them. There are lots of other surprises involving family, friends, & even those lovely women " the Lilly's". less
