review 1: I liked this book, but had a hard time getting past the idea that Chassie was okay with her husband basically being in love with someone else and pining for them the whole time they were married. It seemed that when Edgard came back, even though Trevor said he loved his wife, he seemed more interested in Edgard both emotionally and sexually. After they began their relationship all together, it still seemed that both Trevor and Edgard were more concerned with each other and Chassie was just a secondary participant. Even towards the end when Edgard claimed to be falling for Chassie it didn't seem genuine, more like he was just resigned to the fact he had to be with her to be with Trevor. Good story though. This is the first book I've read in this series I think I need to... more go back to the beginning and start there.
review 2: What an emotionally complicated storyline.I had really liked Trevor and Edgard together in book one and had always hoped for more resolution to their story. I was disappointed when Edgard up and left way back when and was happy to see him return BUT...Something felt wrong to me in this one and it wasn't the m/m thing. It was the fact that Trevor was married (to a wonderfully sweet woman named Chassie) and he NEVER shared information about his past with Edgard with her. I know the past should stay in the past the majority of the time but his return impacted Trevor and Chassie's relationship IMMENSELY. Not to mention the fact that Edgard kissing all up on Trevor and Trevor returning that passion... it pissed me off. I realize that Edgard had been out of the picture for a while and that Trevor didn't want to publicly acknowledge their relationship but I almost felt like all of it was emotionally cheating on Chassie (for a long time). Trevor's far off glazed eyes after he and Chassie had sex (not always but many times) was just... I don't know... made me mad.Words cannot express how extremely fortunate Trevor and Edgard are to have a woman like Chassie in their lives. She is fabulous. She's so accepting, understanding (when she should throttle their a**es) and wouldn't you know it... she's attracted to the both of them. And can you believe that Edgard is attracted to Chassie too? I might've felt different about the whole situation if Trevor and Chassie weren't married but still in a relationship... maybe... but I'm not so sure. Additional gossip- *Trevor's family plain ole sucks. *Cam's situation was so sad. *Colt is a sweetheart! Ranting aside, it was still another good installment in this series! less

The title says it all. This story has some serious grit--in a very good way.
