review 1: Man, this book was sexy and hot as hell. the story was just like a contemporary romance but with all the sweetness that are these yummy cowboys and their proper manners. I loved that AJ didn't just settle for anything and that she went for exactly what she wanted or it wouldn't be good enough, the girl's got some backbone. And then there's Cord, with all his McKay fame trailing behind, and he was just so sweet and dominant and all around YUM! Great story.
review 2: Really 4.5 stars. Its been a long time since I've stayed up late to finish a book. And I'm a little ashamed to admit it was a cowboy book that that made me do it. But, it was hot, steamy, sexy with a remarkably good story about a girl that has loved a cowboy from afar since she was 5 years old. T... morehere is a 13 year age difference, but she has waited patiently and virtuously and when they do finally get it together, WOW! He's dominant, demanding and skilled as hell (in more than cowboy ways). But, of course, he needs to work on his relationship skills so there is a little angst here and there.This book also includes a tiny amount of M/M and ménage. Usually not something I seek out but it was not a big part of the story (and didn't involve the H/h). I'll probably see what other things Ms. James has written, because this one was great. less
