review 1: It was a good book overall with the two characters ending with a well deserved ending. Spencer was suffering from his wife's death and Arizona from traffickers. While Spencer wanTed to help Arizona he ended finding someone to place in his heart slowly. I certainly enjoyed Spencer'so personality and character a lot. He was so wonderful and thoughtful especially in therror way that he treated Arizona and his neighbor Carla. Although the book was good it didn't take my breath away and entirely capture my interest.
review 2: Because i enjoyed reading Back to Buckhorn so much, i decided to finally read A Perfect Storm (before you say anything yes i started at book 4, but in my defense it's the one that spoke to me). Firstly Again Ms Foster's covers! Are you feeling... more a tad bit thirsty looking at it? wanna take a sip of that tall glass a' water before you? Cause i sure did!!! Just fantastic, served as a great mental visual while reading. And secondly I don't even have to tell you how many books i've read on alpha males. At this point i could probably write a manual lol. But you know what was refreshing? Here was an alpha male who didn't need to be in control ALL the time. Spencer Lark is a bounty hunter who lost his wife 3 yrs earlier. After that trauma the last thing he needs is to be in love with a very impulsive and fragile 21 yr old. But he's unable to resist her gorgeous looks and quirky charms. Arizona Storm is feisty, fierce and brave. Just all around awesome! Arizona is a human trafficking survivor and after being that helpless she has tried everything since then never to be again. Working with the men who saved her she brings down vigilante justice on the slave trade. The one thing she's never been able to do is trust anyone with her self. Anyone but Spencer that is. She decides to give him an offer that his feelings for her wont let him refuse. To be partners i bringing down a trafficking spot. The story starts a bit slow but steamy. And so entertaining it kept me smiling most of the time. The way she constantly teased him without being aware of the torture she had him in(enter eternal blue balls here) was a winning ingredient. He didn't mind that she took control of the wheel that was their relationship and that definitely was a turn on. less
