review 1: 3.5 Stars. I adored Alice. She's lovable through and through. So innocent and sweet. So much so, that Reese's dominant personality seemed a bit much a times. Don't get me wrong, I think he's sexy and masculine as every alpha male is, but with Alice, the jealousy over Rowdy and Trace seemed a little unnecessary. Her intentions and love for Reese were clear. I hadn't read the previous story with Trace and Alice, so I almost felt like I was missing something, but the book is written so you need to know too much of the past.The violence towards women and the human trafficking, again, left me disgusted and I find it hard to focus on a love story when woman are being treated as property in the next scene. A bit drastic for me...very detailed. The violence, too, is a bit... more on the cringe-inducing side.A happily ever after, which I have to have. But, like Logan in the first book, the characters jumped to marriage rather quickly. LOVED Cash! That dog was my favourite character. So innocent. His presence in the book was much needed and the love that both Alice and Reese showed him illustrated a sweet dynamic of their personalities. Awesome touch.
review 2: I did not remember Alice Appleton from Trace of Fever, but I enjoyed getting to know her character in this book!"Bare It All" Reese Bareden was delicious! A massive, huge, sexy male with a heart bigger than his 6'6" height. He was one of the best heroes I've read in a long time.And Alice...ah, Alice. I fell in love with Alice & her quiet, unassuming, take-care-of-herself ways. She was a true gem as a heroine. This series gets better with each book, and I am enjoying every word! less
