review 1: ~*~My Thoughts~*~A 5 Star Rating Wow!! I have been wanting to read this book for so long and it did not disappoint. I absolutely loved this book. The storyline was absolutely amazing it had a little bit of everything including romance and suspense. Nick and Jem were absolutely awesome characters and I really wish the book would have been twice as long just to get more of them. This was my first book by Lou and now I'm definitely on to my next.
review 2: Aww, I really liked Jem, as in he made me smile. I love how he came across in the narrative, it was just flavoured with his personality all over. I just found him really endearing lol, although I'm pretty sure that's not what you automatically think meeting someone like Jem. But he attracts people. And he attra... morected one Detective Nick Davis. HAHA! Adored their first meeting and then what followed. Had quite a refreshing touch of normal to it, more believable for day-to-day life than most romance novels. If you want something intense and action packed with brooding heroes, this isn't it. It's kind of mellow. I think I got from it the same kind of pleasure I get from reading a slice of life. I don't know. These kinds of books have a certain kind of appeal for me.Anyway, sweet read with just really likeable characters. Made me smile. less
