review 1: This is written sort of like a TV series with episodes showing Jack’s life. Jack is an assassin for hire to the highest bidder. His life is crazy and intense (and yes, there's a lot of killing). The plot is fast and furious. There are lots of spots that seem unbelievable, yet I was hooked. Jack always surprised me. He’s a cool character—a good bad guy. You don’t know what to think of him at times, but you like him. He can be a cold blooded murderer and then the next second he’s trying to find a lost little girl’s mom. The other characters—Bear, Clarissa, Mandy, and Charles are each intriguing in their own ways too. This isn’t my normal genre I read, but I enjoyed it and thought the writing was well done.
review 2: Do you like books where the her
... moreo either beats the crap out of someone, kills the person, or gets the crap beat out of him? If so, this is the book for you. Jack Noble does have a soft spot for most women, and a little girl in particular, with a bunch of comrades who will help him out. He freelances as well as works for a nebulous person called the old man. He is one of the people who needs to give up smoking--cuts down on his wind--but finds himself in places where it is a social thing. I think that one session of Jack is enough for me! less

Enjoyed this book although the "Noble Intentions" books are very similar to the Jack Reacher books
