review 1: This book was really good and had an amazing story line. It is one of those where you wonder where the story will take you next. As police officers stake out a man that they suspect to be a smuggler they wait and watch him on a bench. When the man takes off running they have no choice but to follow. When they find out what the men are smuggling it breaks their hearts. Now it is a race against time to save young girls being smuggled out of the country before more of them disappear.
review 2: Jack Noble is a member of a very secret group with permission to circumvent or at least connections to cause normal law enforcement to back off and ignore most all of the rules of law. They stumble on a child trafficking ring and rescue a number from the ring. Jack then be
... moregins to get threatening calls with demands, one of the rescued boys in again kidnapped and used as a threat to get Jack to follow instructions from the anonymous caller. Much chasing back an forth and more murders before Jack is able to find the unexpected ring leader. Somewhat pulpish in that Jack seems to be able to survive serious injuries and still prevail. less
