review 1: I have a very soft spot for these little shifter books. For whatever reason I love the whole mating your mine thing.This series is great because of the Mpreg factor. But this one really feel short. I'm 5 books into this series and I still want the Mpreg part way more detailed. I want to know how it works. Why are all these newly pregnant men that are being thrown into this new world not flipping out that they are pushing babies out their asses? lol
review 2: I haven't read the first ones in this series but I don't think it was necessary. We have Gabe who is in need of protection after his father figures out their bank was being used for money laundering and Legend who is the protector. At first I thought Legend was his dad's friend and here he was perving after... more the son but Legend was the son of the friend so not so squicky. Gabe is Legend's mate and after their first sexual encounter ends up preggers (yay 10 SH points) but he didn't even mention he was a shifter so the shit hit the fan. Entertaining read but nothing I'll remember later. less
