review 1: This story is part of a series and I would recommend reading them in order. It is just as good, if not better than book one. The dangers coming for the Chekota Breeders are just one of the many surprises you will get in this story. Jordan takes a trip to Hawaii for business and ends up with a Chekota Breeder who is his mate. The problem is he didn't know until after he slept with Trevor and man was Trevor going to be pissed. Jordan didn't expect such fire in his mate, well until Trevor punched him in the mouth. Trevor had always felt like he was alone, no friends or family around. He had to work two jobs just to survive so when he met Jordan he wanted a connection, he realized he should have watched what he wished for a little better. Finding out he was going to have a bab... morey just about blew his mind. Trevor is a fire cracker waiting to be set off, quirky, and sexy as hell. Can you imagine a man's expression when you tell them that they are pregnant, well expect a temper to fly off with a good punch to the face. I laughed my ass off with this story. It has such wonderful characters that you will either fall in love with, want to smack upside the head and since you can't really shoot them smacking sounds good. There was such humor to Craving His Embrace that you won't want to put it down. It caught my attention from the start and kept it all the way to the end.I would recommend this book to anyone who loves two hot and sexy men, quirky little fireballs, danger, lust and lots of hot sex. I really enjoyed this book and can not wait for the next book. I have found another series to love. Lynn always gives wonderful stories to read and I love her gift for story telling.
review 2: First thing that pops up for me and stands out.. The lack of the word EPLILOGUE.. It seems that at the end we jump head 2 months and get the impression that they JUST now follow thru with mate bite bonding. This isn't up to Lynn Hagen standards for me. It's not the worst I've ever read or near the best. It IS entertaining at times and she does seem to have a knack for making readers (me) want to follow character progression and storyline. So not only did the delayed bonding feel off but again there's a certain jaggedness to the whole storyline. I'm not sure how else to describe it besides the flow throughout the book is not smooth. I've read a few pages of the next book and am really wondering if chekota breeders is supposed to be the standard or not. No big clue in the blurb.. besides! the series is Predatory Hunters.. THAT is what I'm expecting, not necessarily mpreg.. less
