review 1: Okay, This may have some spoilers! The Seekers takes place in New Orleans with Clare, Alex, Daniel, Jackson and Margret. Daniel is infiltrating a group of seekers in order to gain some insight of what Marcus wants with Clare. Meanwhile, Clare, Alex, Jackson and Margret get separate without knowing whether or not each other is alive. And then we are left with a cliffhanger (what's a good book without a cliffhanger!) This book made me fall in love with the series even more! The reasons for that, I think, are 1) The characters are just fantastic and relatable (for example, When Alex followed them to New Orleans. I can say that if I was in the same situation as her, I would have definitely followed too. Another example would be every time Clare reacted to the situation, like wh... moreen Spider was being beaten). 2) I have found that in this series I cannot guess the plot! And I LOVE that! And 3) The books leave you think about them when they are over... A sign of a good book!Another thing I like about this series, is that there are so many different directions it can go. I love that. It is so rare to find a book like that, that keeps you on your toes. The next book is The Saints, and I can't wait!On a side note- Spider was awesome!
review 2: Clare is able to finagle her way into accompanying Daniel, Margaret and Jackson to New Orleans in search of answers as to why she is being sought after by Marcus. They find once they arrive that they have been followed by Alex who now becomes part of the search team. A great read that keeps you page turning to see what the next discovery will unfold. The pages fly by until you realize you're on the last page and....NOOOOOOOOO!!!! You're left with Clare having been abducted and enroute to LA. The hook is set and I'm dashing to find book 3. Definitely a series that is well worth the read. less
