review 1: This book must be read after reading Twilight Prophecy. After Utana has killed many of the vampires in the united states, the remaining vampires decide that he must be taken out. Brigit, who has a deadly gift is tasked with this but what she wasn't counting on was how they would feel about each other. Brigit must choose between passion and family and she doesn't have long to make that decision. This book has some major issues and doesn't address great big questions having to do with fallout but it isn't a bad read. I'm not a huge fan of Maggie Shayne but it did keep me entertained when I couldn't sleep.
review 2: The newest installment of the Wings in the Night series does not disappoint. I cannot wait for Maggie Shayne to write even more. Having read this serie
... mores since Twilight Phantasies came out in SHADOWS I have to say I am very happy with where the series is going. My only complaint is I would enjoy seeing more of some of the other characters and less of Rhiannon, granted she hard core ROCKS! But I miss some of the lower keyed players. Like where the heck was Shannon, or Cuyler Jade? However, as always, Ms. Shayne does a great job and I loved the book! less
