review 1: This volume really picked up and was really interesting! I'm so happy that this series has a dark side to it, and it's not just this super cutesie, Sailor Moon-esque manga. The artwork was so cutesie I worried about that, but I'm really enjoying the storyline. I like that things aren't so simple and magical and perfect. I can't wait to keep reading this series... though I'm going to have to wait *frowny face*
review 2: OK, I wasn't sure what to think of the first one of these books, but since I was borrowing them both I figured I may as well give volume 2 a chance.HO. LY. HELL.So I finished the first book thinking that Sayaka was awesome, Madoka was OK, Kyuube was weird and Homura sucked.So roll on book two where they introduce Kyouko.
