review 1: This was my first Jericho Quinn book. Really wish I had been able to read the 1st Quinn book before this one but the library didn't have the first one at the time. Really enjoyed this book. Struggled to get into the first third of it because there was SO MUCH going on and so many different characters in different places it was hard to keep together. I think if I had read the first book it would have been easier since I would have known the regular players (Quinn, Palmer, Tibideux etc). This was a real page turner and in the end I could not put it down!
review 2: The most frightening thing about this book is the fact that it could easily be true. Acts of terror are occurring everywhere: suicide bombers causing havoc across the country, stewardesses crashing a pl
... moreane, policemen opening fire in a stadium. The list goes on and will until covert enemies in sleeper cells cause the demise of America. Special Agent Jericho Quinn’s mission is to stop it if he can. After his introduction in his first book, the author continues to refine this American hero, fighting to keep America strong. The action is never ending, though the feats of this knight in shining armor often seem impossible. The author has managed to add enough realism and humor to keep the storyline believable and hold the reader’s interest. I found this book thrilling almost from the start, and was almost unable to put it down. This author has created a character I hope to see more of in the future. I received this book from goodreads to read and review. less
