review 1: I have read and enjoyed other books in Marcia Clark's Rachel Knight series. This stand-alone novel provides a realistic and frightening look into the all-too-familiar scenario of school shootings and similar attacks involving large numbers of innocent people. As a prosecuting attorney, the author provides insight into the police procedural work involved in trying to investigate and ultimately solve this type of heinous crime.
