review 1: So I wasn't to fond on how quickly they fell in love. That was just crazy. But I must say the rest of the story kicked ass!! I love books with a lot of action like this one.Main character is Anna, since an early start she was a passion for weapons (guns) she is good at it and smart as hell. Her dad is killed when she was 15 by 2 assassins that are trying to recruit her to be one of them.Our hero is Ben, Chief of police of Anna's home town.What's the most awesome thing, is that there's secrets after secrets that Anna must discover to accomplish her goals.Ok enough, got to jump to the next book....
review 2: What a great start to a new series. This book has ticked so many boxes:A kick ass female lead,Great one liners,Romance,Action- really, it's all there.My only... more tiny issue with the formidable Anna Brookes was that it took me a wee while to really relate and like her. At first I though she was a bit conceited, but actually she just knows her true worth.Really looking forward to the next book, am downloading it NOW!! less
