review 1: I was pleasantly surprised by this one. It had a smooth, flowing style that made it easy to read very quickly. Meg, 21, loves her dying mother, 37, but had grown embarrassed by the tall tales her mother tells and insists they are true. The stories are mostly food-based and really cute and funny. Meg has no memories of her life before age 5 and is worried she'll never know the real truth. The quest to know is what drives the plot. Her boyfriend, Mark, has the personality of a turnip. It was a lot of fun hating him. The book avoids being too sappy or too depressing. It has no swearing or sex.

Lo que trato de decir, es que este libro es de los que sacan tus emociones más profundas, todos los que conocen una mujer extraordinaria y tienen la dicha de llamarla "madre" o incluso "abuela" van a conmoverse hasta el tuétano, bueno para reflexionar y valorar a esas mujeres que un buen día dejan de comprenderte pero aún así lo dan todo por tu alegría. less
