review 1: Sam and Nick has become a favourite couple of mine, despite the doubts I had when I read the first couple of books. Their characters are now fully differentiated from the initial "In Death" similarities and come into their own. I really enjoy the inter-relationships with their family, friends and colleagues and Scotty, their adopted son, is just adorable. Looking forward to more of this series soon!
review 2: Marie Force is a must read author for me and this series is one of her best. Oh, who am I kidding, all her series are FANTASTIC!I absolutely could not wait for this book to come out and I was not disappointed at all. I love the progression of this series and how each book is a completely new case for Sam and a new political season for Nick, but the ba... moresic story of their relationship continues throughout. The secondary characters are fantastic too and I think that really make the series a great one.Marie will continue to be on my must read list. I only wish she would write more incredible stories for me to devour! less
