review 1: Right now is just as touching as the first book, A Moment! But in this story it explains and tells how Alex dealt with the secret that not only Ryan lived with, but why he lived with it as well. This secret wasn't just Ryan's, it was Alex's as well. Alex's story was as soul deep and the support that he found in Zoe is a wonderful thing to find in life. With Zoe's support, Alex learns to gain strength from her and to figure out a way to deal with the secret. These two books are the deepest, soul touching and heartfelt that I have read in a long time!
review 2: I love this book and the concept of this series. I have read both Moment series books and can not wait for the third one. As a quick recommendation to anyone, I would say Marie Hall writes contemporary rom... moreances with real life characters who could be any one of your friends, tackling plausible issues with grace, but most important and ultimately, truth. The timing of this read was perfect as I started teaching High School and lines such as "Funny how you could see someone and want to be just like them, never even realizing how much they would give to be someone, anyone, else other than who they were." I wanted to scrawl that one on the board for the entire day. And to my girlfriend who has yet to face her own truth the very real line, "You can only lock things away for so long, eventually the closet gets too full and when it does, everything comes tumbling out." I mean really...it doesn't get any more real than that! So yes, this is a light read and perhaps I'm being a bit gracious with five stars but the timing, the plot line, the moments of truth all bring me to a five star rating.
