review 1: I decided to give the author another try and read Hearts Through Time because I love time travel books. I thought this one was slightly better then the other I read but the ending was just a little toooooo unfinished in my opinion. There were too many unresolved questions in the book that needed to be tied up if there was going to be an ending like that. I don't think I will invest my time in her other books, however, I am sure other readers will love them, just not me.
review 2: When I first read the blurb about the book, I wondered how a love story between a ghost and a living man could possibly be romantic when there was little hope that they could fulfill their longings to share their love and affection in time with both embodied. As a girl, I loved the r... moreomantic series "The Ghost and Mrs. Muir." I absolutely longed to see them be able to hold each other. Knowing they never could was extremely frustrating, so when I read the summary of "Hearts Through Time," I wasn't anxious to read it and experience the same frustration. Marie Higgins, however, figured out a way around all of that and does bring her characters together in a deeply satisfying way. I can't imagine anyone being disappointed with this book. It is a first-rate romance with an exciting maze of twists and turns, Ms. Higgins hallmark as a writer. I couldn't put the book down and would even read while cooking. I went shopping with my oldest son, and guess what came along? Yep, "Hearts Through Time." Kudos to Marie Higgins for delivering another page-turner. less
