review 1: I'm in love with this trilogy. Totally one of my favorites trilogies of all. (Sorry THG and Divergent) The characters were so well developed. June was so calculator and Day was so brave. Each one had a very defined perosonality. I think all characters grow up in every way during the books. And HOLLY CRAP. I cried like a baby at the end of Champion. It was so sad and emotional. Day was so breathtaking. SO MANY FEELS. And can we talk about how Marie Lu made Metias so lovely and caring and you fell in love with him even though he only appeared for like 30 pages? These trilogy was so an enjoyable and addictive series.
review 2: I'll try not to give any spoilers ;)This book was different from what I expected, it's not lighthearted, doesn't take anything for granted ... moreand really wants to portray something as it should be! No easy outs or cheats, no, soldiering on like we would in real life.The story kept me interested with several story lines running through it, and the ending was a bit of a surprise :) I liked it, maybe there will be snippets in the future, who's to say. But thank you for June and Day, they were fun companions! less
