review 1: This book seemed rather disjointed to me. It highlights local farmers across the US and the chefs that use their products. Nice profiles, interesting stories. And then Mario Batali highlights *his* recipes. Huh? And not even necessarily ones that highlight the ingredient that the preceding farm raises. Confusing. Could've been organized much better. And I'd have preferred to see the other chef's recipes.
