review 1: I usually like anti heroes, but now I think I've reached my fill. There is nothing redeeming or hopeful about Prince-now-king Jorg, and since the book is narrated from his point of view I kept hoping he would get his teeth smashed in. When I found myself flipping through to see where it was going I decided to give it a toss and move on to the next item in my pile. Lifes two short to waste time on a bad book. Oh well.
review 2: The second book continues on with Jorg's story. There are twists and turns - some you see coming, and some you do not. There are people and things lost, some hurt make you sadder than others. And there revealed about the Builder's and the past. The book is engaging, and a good read but I still maintain those needing a hero to carry the ... morestory will be disappointed or not need to continue. Jorg is not a hero, and while there are some in the story that are such, they often do not stay. less
