Summer Wind is the sequel to Summer Girls and continues where the first story left off. the main themes discuss family, love, loss and the power to persevere. There's beautiful quote from the book I had to share 'life is like the ocean out there, it's deep and bountiful and the waves just keep coming. Sometimes the waves get choppy, sometimes they get smooth so you just got to ride them.'
review 2: You definitely will want to read the first in the series before reading this book. Some of the events were predictible but still an enjoyable read. I like especially reading books about South Carolina because I have been to the places it mentioned. The way that it ended definitely makes you look forward to book 3 but it isn't ... morecoming out until mid-2015. Sometimes I like to wait until all the books int he trilogy are out and read one after the other. less
