review 1: This is this first book I have read by author, Mary Burton. This book is classified by the publisher (Zebra) as "Romance/Suspense", but there is only one "romantic" scene in the entire book. It is definitely full of suspense. The characters have so many layers that are gradually unpeeled throughout the story. It starts with a 30 year old murder and the murderer still in jail insisting he is innocent and asking for DNA testing of the murder weapon. Many community members claim their disbelief, but really want him kept in jail for reasons of their own. "Cover Your Eyes" will keep you hooked until the end!!
review 2: Totally enjoyed this book. Twist and turns knots and bolts, this plot was fantastic. A 20 year old murder case that had the murderer in prison, but ... moreis he? As his lawyer, (Rachel) fights to have DNA tests done on blood samples found 20 years ago in hopes of reopening the case. As she awaits for the results her investigations starts to unravel a tangled web of secrets, betrayal and possibly cover up from law enforcement. Last 2 chapters ….amazing. Looking forward to reading more from this author. I was provided a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review less
