People say that the old lady who died killed herself, and the case hasn't been further investigated. The boys think otherwise and set off to find the actual killer. They find themselves in an amusement park that is closed and come face to face with the killer.This is a great mystery that keeps the reader intrigued throughout the story. The author does a good job of keeping the plot going consistently and keeping the reader interested. This would be a good book to use in the classroom for independent reading or ev... moreen group literature circles.
review 2: I think middle school boys would really enjoy the plot in this book. The main character, Logan, moves to town and meets the boy that lives next door. The two boys go on a search to find missing money and the real story about the woman that was murdered in Logan's house before they moved in. Half of the story revolves around an amusement park that has been shut down and is overgrown and dilapidated which makes this story deliciously spooky! less
