Susanna
review 1: A fun read about a young girl who gets a chance to go to the oscars. This is the 2nd installment in the series, the first one she gets to be a teen intern for a magazine. Susanna is a girl willing to do anything to get the scoop of her life including pose as "Susanna Streep" to get backstage before the Oscars. She gets into many hilarious situations and gets a chance to hear snippets of celebrity conversations, "limousine confessions" but she is treated like a personal servant by the members of the magazine she works for and has to struggle with curly hair, california heat and a crazy boss who can't remember her name, but in the end she gets a realistic 15 minutes of fame before heading home to her embarrassing family of loaded diaper triplet baby brothers and mismatche... mored slipper wearing mum.
review 2: I really recommend this book to someone that likes realistic fiction novels. This book showed me the life of a person that has to work really hard to impress others in her job. She really loves the industry that she is working for, and will not let this obstacle get in the way of her goals. I learned from Susanna that it is possible to impress others and stay true to your values, but it is very hard. Because you have to do what your boss says even if you don't completely believe it is the right action to take. less
