review 1: 3 cute short stories that I picked up because I am rereading Putney, though it doesn't seem to have characters from her other series. Featherstones is a novella in her Addicted series, which I have not read. I like short stories so I can read 1 before bed and not feel obligated to stay ap and finish the book! All three share the premise of a marriage where the heroine thinks they are marrying for wrong reasons, but of course it tuens out the heros had all been secretly in love and take FOREVER to just tell her!!!
review 2: The first and last story were well done and well-written. The middle western seemed out of nowhere and facile. What a strange compilation, I must say. Other than the first story, I really can't see how the other two fit with the theme. Or pe... morerhaps it was just a way to sell stories? The first two were written in 1994 and the last one, 2011. So odd. At any rate, I may check out more of Featherstone's work. (Although I find her name fake sounding!) less
