review 1: Really enjoyed this book. Lots of drama with Rhoda & Annette. Jade finally gets into a mess she couldn't get out of. I believe Jade was a defective human being. She was awful to everyone except herself. Now she'll rot in prison. Feel sorry for Rhoda but, then I must remember the apple doesn't fall far from the tree. Annette's dau. Helped Annette to see the light. Therapy should have long been introduced to all these characters. Very good book. Mary Monroe didn't disappoint.
review 2: The final God series...what can I say? I'm glad that the series has come to an end - in that I have read all 6 books but to be honest I was quite disappointed in the storyline, which felt rushed and empty. There were times that I was rolling my eyes and thinking ''how stupid can yo... moreu be Annette?'; this was because having travelled through the 'years' with Annette I just couldn't believe how stupid she was being - considering her past. less
