review 1: This was an interesting book, and I really liked it, right up until the narrator chose to become human. The story lost its charm and steam at that point and I never really felt engaged again. Also, the rules for humans were a little too much "The Alchemist" for me. I don't read a fiction book to be preached to and I didn't even read that list. A sad ending to what was a great read. It felt like a cop-out.
