review 1: Gelezen in sneltreinvaart. Gardiner heeft een vlotte schrijfstijl, die onontbeerlijk is bij dit soort boeken. Toch slechts drie sterretjes omdat ik het allemaal net dat tikkeltje te ver gezocht vind. Vooral de ontknoping van het verhaal deed me toch de wenkbrauwen fronsen. Sommige passages leken we weggelopen uit een verhaal van Stephen King. Niet dat ik iets tegen King heb, integendeel, maar naar mijn mening is het allemaal net iets té fantastisch voor een thriller.
review 2: A good book with a lot of suprises and twists in it. I was not expecting it to end the way it did! I think its good that it also takes a different persons view on the crime, a conpletely different angle. Its refreshing to read something from a forensic psychiatrists point of view. Very c... moreleverly written, i cant wait for the next one! Highly recommended, especially for those with a particular interest in crime and/or psychology. less
