review 1: I really wanted to like and enjoy this book. The blurb made it sound like a light, fun, sexy read. It was not. This book read as though the author wanted to write three separate books, but couldn't decide which to write first. The result was one poorly written mess. Character development: none. Character revelations: none. Sex: boring. The whole Dom thing came out of left fields, was poorly done, completely unnecessary, embarrassing, and not at all sexy. While Dom/sub is not my thing, I know it can be written well. Beth Kery does it well. This was ... just plain bad.
review 2: 3.5 stars This was a fun, sexy little read. Daniel, Maddy's billionaire boss, is a Canuck who has an INS issue. Apparently some old paperwork was never done properly, and his American citi
... morezenship is in jeopardy. He asks Maddy, a quite and hard working employee, to pose as his wife for a year for 2 million dollars. They are instantly attracted, and despite trying to keep a cool head about the nature of their relationship, they can see themselves falling harder and harder. Cute! And apparently a series. less
