review 1: I was given a copy of this book by Mercy in exchange for a honest review. I read this book in about 15 or 20 minutes. The reason why this book got 3 stars and not lower, is because I love romance. Sad to say I was not impressed by the rest of this book. This book developed to fast, and it did not have any background at all. I was sad to see characters that have the potential to be better. This was a poorly written book, that needs work. What was the pro-log all about? How did it fit into the story? So many unanswered questions. I hope book two will answer my questions, and develop more.I would like to say thanks to Mercy for providing me with a copy of this book to read and review!
review 2: Story of Soul Mates...( Before you go on this review is about book 1&2
... morecombined) This is one of the most touching stories i have ever read! From the very beginning i was pulled in & couldn't stop reading until i was finish. keep in mind 'I do not read Romance book' so for me to love this book says Alot! It touched me to my very Soul. I loved every moment of happiness they shared and when the grief set in after they lost each other , i felt that too. This book made me feel like i was apart of it, right there watching every single moment play out. I felt the pain & sorrow she felt, the need to want to have him their beside her or just talk to him after he was gone..gone for good with no way of contacting him. Its like your 1 true love has died and you know, know mater what you do you just cant get them back . This book is Brilliant, Creative and just a Wonderful work of Art!Their are no words to actually tell you how it made me feel besides what i wrote but that only covers a small part of it.spoiler alert: don't read further if you haven't read the book....Anyone who read & doesn't get this book just never fell in love 'True Love' , never met their soul mate which i no is rare in some ppls lives but then you might not no the difference. yes you can fall in love from just one look, ever heard of love at 1st site? i'm here to tell you its real..i'm married to mine! one look at each other and we knew. Its history from their, we're happily married and plan to be Forever & Ever...through Eternity be together. But i'm just one of the lucky ones.So about Saskia and William yes they fall in love, and i do believe its it was fate, they meet at the group meeting and just knew from that one look. They have a wonderful year together. William can be possessive at times and Saskia i don't think really knew the difference when a man sort of degraded her, that was her life before she met William. He knew she deserved better and tried to teach her that. but then the worst happens and they are torn apart. Sure he withheld information from her that he shouldn't have. He realized that too late obviously. They get the chance to say goodbye..but if he didn't love her he would've let her go along to Ohio, a place he knew would ruin her life, or so he thought. William didn't want saskia pulled into that life, especially a life he though was truly wrong for her as he did for himself, with his fucked up childhood , until he figured out that theirs more to life 7he thought he got out only to be sent back. He treated her horribly to make her hate him when he left but she couldn't hate him just as he couldn't live without her. I loved saskia's attitude, they ways she felt so deeply and of course her feistiness. Williams possessiveness seemed to me to be coming from a good place mostly, then times from his fucked-up childhood. but he loved her so deeply and that's what matterered. It was devastating to me that they were torn from one another never to reunite again, so it seemed ,but in the end they did. If it wasn't fate she would have never gotten that number to call at her job. So when she went to Ohio if it was the last thing she would do, she just had to know after that phone call if he needed her as much as she did him. turned out he did. As for ending abruptly...i don't think it was a bad ending it was left open just right with her student visa to expire soon. will she have to leave or will she stay somehow? will they be torn apart again? I for one cant wait to find out what happens next.Mercy is a Great writer and i wish her all the best on this book and any Endivers to come. Keep up the great writing, I will always be a fan of Saskia and William and of Mercy herself if course.! I Beta read this book, that's how i got my copy. so if you seen any mistakes in the copy you received on here they are already fix for release.I have given a honest review of this book as i said afterward when i ask if i could review it...if you would like to see reviews on other books and this one go to; http:\\ thereaderhaven.wordpress.com. less
