review 1: This was a fairly cute short story about mistaken identities. This was also my introduction to this author. I found the book to be very entertaining, and it had a very (cliché, I know) romantic view of romance. I liked the naiveté of Amanda the most and I could actually relate to her. She wasn't a traditional historical heroine, she actually suffered in her life, and it was a believable suffering. I immediately wanted to read the next book in the series, so I know this was good and a keeper!
review 2: I don't really know why books on ships make me feel sea sick. I try to take them seriously, I can't. It's a floating feeling. How can you prolong their agonies if they are in a cabin, smells like sex after one night knowing the chemistry in HR. What is ther... moree to develop when you have crestfallen waves, when the currents will shift you, when tides will come to the shore. She is already knocked up, surprisingly never. less
