review 1: This book was so damn romantic, it made me sigh wistfully. Out loud. More than once. Seriously, I have never sighed wistfully in my entire life. I didn't know that sighing wistfully was something people could actually do outside of novels and films. But it is. Because I did it. I also almost dropped the book a few times because I was too busy making an "awwwhawww" noise in my head to hold it up. I'm a voracious romance reader, and this never ever happens to me. Ever.Meredith Duran is crazy good and I want to devour her backlist.
review 2: This is the third book I read from this author, but I did not enjoy this one as much as I did the others. I couldn't connect with either Gwen or Alex. I found myself bored and looking for other things to do. And I ski... moremmed a lot which is something I couldn't do with the other two books since I wanted to read every word.I guess this story just wasn't for me. I will continue reading other books from this author though. less
