review 1: I haven't seen all that many movies starring Meryl Streep, which will probably be a draw for most people who choose to read this book. The characters go into a lot of depth about the movies, even discussing the endings. If you don't want movie spoilers, you might want to watch them first.I really enjoyed how the movies often related to key moments in these strong women's lives, helping them to understand different points of view and even accept what is happening to them.I read most of the book while I was at work and if I had been in a quieter place while reading, I am certain I would have been sobbing. Looking forward to reading more from Mia March.
review 2: If you love Meryl Streep, you will definitely enjoy this book. I picked it up only because my favourit
... moree actress' name was in the title and it did not disappoint. Of course it being "chick lit", you shouldn't go in with too huge expectations but then it's a fun read and actually has way more substance than you would think. It did make me think about life and love more deeply than I'd anticipated and even though some situations resolved much more conveniently than they realistically should've, it was never annoying enough to make me put the book down. less

A great read! The characters are well developed with a good mix of tragedy and joy in their lives.
