review 1: Sweet little love story. Loved the characters, although it was a lot predictable, but still just as sweet.I enjoyed the story, and I liked the little surprise at the end, the recipe for a Colin Firth Pie.I was a bit disappointed at the epilogue, and I wish it would have shown us a little further into their future, because I wanted to know all that's happened to the characters. Alex and Gemma and their baby, Bea and Tyler and Maddy. Veronica and Nick and Leigh. Timothy and Beth. June and her sister and their families. Even Penelope and Lizzie. So when I didn't get that I was a bit disappoined, but all in all, it's a cute little love story.
review 2: Okay, I admit, I picked this book based on the title alone. But I loved it. I read it in one day. Could not put
... more it down. I fell in love with the town and the characters and the pie! However, didn't Gemma go to Maine to visit her friend? Why did the friend not play a bigger role in this book? I loved Veronica and Bea. And I wish the pies were for sale, I was totally hungry at the end of this book. My only wish, is that Colin Firth had glanced at the girls at the end, and said, "Hello" But we are all looking for a Colin Firth to save us. Only we can save ourselves. But it sure is fun trying to find Colin Firth! less

The characters were pretty one dimensional and the book moved very slowly for a quick read.

Perfect summer beach read. However, I would like some of those pies.

It was a good story. But it was highly predictable.
