review 1: Sugar Plum Season a Barrett's Mill series by Mia Ross was a touching, funny book. Jason is a big lumberjack and carves items. Amy was a famous dancer. A car accident makes it impossible for her to dance on stage any more. He moves back to her home town and runs her Aunts dance studio for children. She has the children do the play The Nutcracker. Jason helps with the stage set. They end of really liking each other. Amy is asked if she wants to have a experimental operation that might let her dance again like she did before or she could end up in a wheelchair. It's a big decision. A very good book.
review 2: I won this book in a goodreads giveaway.This was my first book by Mia Ross, and my first Harlequin love inspired novel. It was a very heartwarmin... moreg story that takes place during the Holiday season. At first I didn't like the lead female character but over time she grew on me. The male lead was far more likable. The story moved at a good pace, some of the dialogue was a lacking, but that is true of a lot of romance novels. All in all I enjoyed the read and make read the others from this series. less
